Hexagonal Wire Netting Gabions are wire containers made of hexagonal wire netting. Wire diameter varies with the hexagonal nettings. For hexagonal wire netting with no pvc coating, the wire diameter ranges from 2.0mm to 4.0mm. For those PVC coated hexagonal wire netting, the outside diameter ranges from 3.0mm to 4.0mm. The wire of the outside frame edge is one wire gauge thicker than the wire used for hexagonal wire netting.
Galvanized gabion box surface treatment:
1) Hot-dipped galvanized 270g/m2
2) PE or PVC coated (green,blue etc.)
3) Galfan coated 95% zinc and 5% Aluminum/90% zinc and 10% Aluminum
Galvanized gabion box usage:
It is mainly used in supporting and protecting side slope and basis pit,mountain rock hanging mesh, green guard rail netting on side slope, railway guard netting. Gabion wire netting also can be worked into stone cage or stone cage cushion, and used in reservoir,river or dyke for closure
